After a decade in the events industry with JWY Event Designers as Group Account Director, Edward Kent had a vision to start his own integrated events company that would be a one-stop shop for event management.

On one of his trips to Rome, he reflected on the steps of the historical arena where Caesar would bring his people to for an announcement amidst gladiator-style entertainment.

Inspired by the awe and symbolism of the Circus Maximus, Edward went on to found his own event management company named likewise in 1998.

Since then, from humble beginnings of only 5 employees, Circus Maximus International Pte Ltd now has 25 staff based in Singapore and 2 staff in Kuala Lumpur that forms a young, dynamic and hardworking team that oversees local and international projects.

Circus Maximus International is a privately owned company.

The Circus Maximus (Latin for “greatest circus”) is an ancient Roman Chariot Racing Stadium and mass entertainment venue located in the valley between the Aventine and Palatine hills.

Circus Maximus was the first and largest Chariot Racing Stadium in ancient Rome. It was constructed to meet the demands of the Roman citizenry for mass public entertainment on a lavish scale, showcasing public games and festivals – a fabulous place where people gathered to experience exciting and memorable events.
