Greatest Circus

The Circus Maximus (Latin for “greatest circus”) is an ancient Roman Chariot Racing Stadium and mass entertainment venue located in the valley between the Aventine and Palatine hills.

Circus Maximus was the first and largest Chariot Racing Stadium in ancient Rome. It was constructed to meet the demands of the Roman citizenry for mass public entertainment on a lavish scale, showcasing public games and festivals – a fabulous place where people gathered to experience exciting and memorable events.
