The IBM Man in Blue went around ASEAN to spread the word on how IBM System x help curb rising server costs and improve IT risk management… through song and dance! The show went on the road from Singapore to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Kuala Lumpur, turning heads and piquing the curiosity of passers-by.
While targeting IT managers, the Man in Blue created buzz and brand awareness with the general public. The 360 campaign integrated the public performances with social mediums such as YouTube and Facebook as part of the nurturing phase, resulting in an effective guerilla marketing campaign that everyone is singing about.
