For the second consecutive year, the IBM Global Technology Services business unit brought together its Asia Pacific leaders for a teambuilding, goal-setting event themed “Growth Through Transformation”.
With the 2007 event held in Bangkok, Thailand, the event host Satish Khatu, General Manager, Global Technology Services, IBM Asia Pacific brought the 2008 conference to a city in focus as part of the growth theme – Bangalore, India. Known as the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore served as a unique destination for local site tours to showcase the cost efficiency of outsourced functions like the IBM Call Centre.
The leaders were hosted at the exclusive The Leela Palace, Kempinski Bangalore and a special Indian-themed offsite dinner was arranged at the Taj West End, immersing the attendees in local culture and culinary delights. |
