To commemorate her 100th year anniversary, IBM had an exclusive dinner celebration at Capella Singapore on 2 December 2011. Hosted by local celebrities, George Young and Stephanie Carrington, the dinner was to celebrate not just a rich heritage of a company that has shaped some of the most significant milestones in human history, but to also continue the tradition of collaborative innovation with their valued partners.
The event kicked off with a special welcome speech by the Guest of Honour, Minister for Education, Mr Heng Swee Keat and was followed with special addresses by IBM executives. Guests were then treated to an aural delight as Robert Fernando and his jazz quarter performed during dinner.
To end the night of celebration, a toast was jointly conducted by Mr Heng Swee Keat - Minister for Education, Mr David Adelman – His Excellency Ambassador to The United States and Ms Yong Ying-I, Chairman for the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore.
It was certainly a night to remember by all guests of IBM! |
