Dubbed Project Blackbox, the portable data centre makes a scheduled stopover in the island-state of Singapore from October 2 to 4, 2007, followed by a tour in four other cities in the Asia-Pacific region (Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Sydney).
As the first leg of the tour, the launch in Singapore received fantastic media reviews and overwhelming success. In the highly-anticipated event, the portable Sun Microsystems Data Center was dramatically unveiled to the media, trade and government audiences before they were taken on a personal tour of the Center.
